Bill Donohoe is going down

This week the FDR campaign rejected pressure from Anthony Comstock, keeping Molly Ivins and Mother Jones on staff, and winning the heart of Tom Paine. Or at least, that's how this werewolf imagines it. Read about what actually happened here.

I think Donohue will be getting some long over due attention from the world of bloggers. At least, I hope so.

I feel bad for the Edwards campaign, they are getting fired upon for trying to lead the way.

I feel he is still the best candidate.

The first words of the First Amendment of the United States Constitution are:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, OR PROHIBITING THE FREE EXERCISE THEREOF;

Amendment XIV states:

No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States… nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the EQUAL PROTECTION OF THE LAWS.

More to the point, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 states:

… without DISCRIMINATION or SEGREGATION on the ground of race, color, RELIGION, or national origin.



And so I ask you, how could ANYONE vote for a man running for President who comes to defense of his own employees when they publicly display extreme bigotry based on a person’s religious beliefs? Indeed, these two young women rant vile insults very much in-line with the Anti-Catholicism of the Ku Klux Klan.

Thankfully, this note of yours is dated, and these two women “resigned.” However, the cat is out of the bag, and all of America now knows that John Edwards and his card carrying supporters are religious bigots. You must be proud.
